"Kole Maka Onaona" a phrase used to describe an attractive person inspired by the beautiful eye of the Kole. Kole is a well known reef fish and has an important role in keeping Hawaiʻi’s reefs healthy by feeding on limu and helping prevent overgrowth.
Our Kole Maka Onaona design celebrates the beauty and ʻono while encouraging balance and sustainability of our nearshore ecosystems.
